| What's the difference between Global Magellan and Private Magellan |
With Global Magellan you get a free Global Magellan personal extension (MagNumber). Callers in different parts of the world can reach you by dialing any of Cordia's Access Numbers and your MagNumber. Anyone who dials a local Access Number where they live or work pays local rates when they call you. Choose Global Magellan if you want people in one or more of 300 cities and 40 countries to reach you by dialing a local number.
With Private Magellan you select a phone number in a specific city/country. We have phone numbers from over 2000 cities and 40 countries worldwide. People in that just that number's local calling area pay for a local call when they dial your Private Magellan number.
With both services, inbound calls are forwarded to the landline or mobile phone number you specify, anywhere in the world, and you can route calls to a different number anytime you want. The same low Inbound Rates apply when you route calls to a phone number outside the continental U.S. or Canada. Get the same low Outbound Rates, the same Features, and access to Magellan Central with either service.

| How do Magellan services compare to prepaid calling cards and special mobile plans? |
Prepaid calling cards and special mobile plans can't deliver the savings, flexibility, and convenience you get with Magellan services.
Prepaid calling cards promise low rates. But hidden charges may apply and you may run out of minutes in the middle of a call. Because incoming calls can't be re-routed with prepaid cards, you can miss important calls from people you really want to talk to.
With Magellan services there are no hidden charges. Re-route inbound calls whenever you want and your callers won't know the difference. With our pay-as-you-go plans you will never run out of minutes.
Special mobile plans may offer low international rates when you use your cell phone in the U.S. But you can't take advantage of those rates with your landline phone, and roaming charges kick in when you're out of the country. Callers in foreign countries don't save - they still pay high international long distance rates when they call you.
With Magellan, everybody saves. Callers pay local rates when they call you. And you can use any phone and our Access Numbers to take advantage of discounted outbound rates whether you are in the U.S. or out of the country.

| What are Access Numbers used for? |
Access Numbers allow you to make outbound calls as well as manage your Magellan account. They are also used by callers trying to reach you.

| How do my callers use Access Numbers? |
If you sign up for Global Magellan, callers reach you by dialing one of Cordia's Access Numbers and your MagNumber. For example, if your Global Magellan number is 2369, a caller in Guatemala City, Guatemala dials 50223560912 plus 2369, and a caller in Brisbane, Australia dials 61731234432 plus 2369 to reach you. Calls from any of Cordia's Access Numbers ring on the landline or mobile phone number you specify.
If you sign up for Private Magellan, callers dial the specific number you selected instead of an Access Number.
| How do I use Access Numbers? |
Simply go to http://www.magnumbers.com/default.asp?ix=2013, look up the phone number for the country and city you are located in. Dial the Country and/or City code (when applicable), followed by the number. From there you can manage your account or make an outbound call.
| Are there any restrictions to Magellan numbers? |
There are no restrictions with Global Numbers. Pick any MagNumber that's available when you sign up. In most cases you can pick any Private number you want from our entire list of available numbers. However, some countries (for example, Germany) now require that you provide a valid German address when you sign up for a phone number from that country.
| Can I get sign up for more than one number? |
Yes. You can add as many numbers as you want. Inbound calls from each number you add will be forwarded to the landline or mobile phone you specify.
| How will I be billed? |
Both services are prepaid. You must sign up with a valid MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express® or Discover® credit card. When you sign up, your credit card will be charged the monthly or semi-annual rate for your primary plan, based on the telephone number you select, plus the monthly or semi-annual rate for any phone numbers you add. A $30 deposit is required for each number you choose, in addition to the plan price. You will also be charged a one-time $19 Activation fee if you sign up for a Private Magellan number. There is no Activation fee for Global Magellan.
Calls with Outbound or Inbound rates will immediately be deducted from your deposit, as will out of plan calls with 1,000 minute plans. We will automatically re-charge your credit card back to $30 when your balance falls below $10. You must maintain a minimum balance of $10 to remain active. If your balance falls below $10 for more than 30 days your number is subject to forfeiture. Out of plan calls are suspended once your account falls below $5. If you sign up for a semi-annual 1000 or unlimited plan and your balance falls below $10 for 30 days (or $5 at any time) your out of plan inbound and outbound calling are suspended. You will receive a 30 day notice to renew during the 5th month if you sign up for a semi-annual plan. Continental U.S. includes the contiguous 48 states only. Extra charges apply for inbound calls routed to AK, HI, PR or the USVI.
Only online billing will be provided, and you will receive an email when your detailed invoice is available online.
| Can I use more than one phone with Magellan? |
Yes. While inbound Magellan calls can be routed to only one landline or mobile phone number at a time, you can use as many different mobile or landline phones as you want to make outbound calls.
| How many people can I give my Magellan number to? |
You can give your Magellan number to as many people as you want. No more than two calls per number can be forwarded at one time. Additional callers will get a busy signal.
| Can I forward calls to a different number after I sign up? |
Yes. With Magellan you can change the destination number (a landline or mobile phone number) any time you want. Just go online, use Magellan Central, or call Customer Service to change your forward-to number.
| Does Magellan replace any other phone service I may have? |
No. Magellan is simply an enhancement to the landline or mobile phone service you already have. It's an alternate way to have family members, friends, business associates or customers who live far away call you for less, and an alternate way to make discounted outbound calls. You must keep your landline or mobile service active to receive and make Magellan calls.
| Does Magellan require any special equipment, software, or setup? |
No. You can use any corded or cordless phone with the landline or mobile phone you already have. Magellan is quick and easy to activate and does not require setup, software, broadband, or special equipment. All you have to do is sign up.
| Is there a guarantee? |
Yes. We offer a 30-day money back guarantee to ensure you are completely satisfied with Magellan. You can cancel your service by contacting Customer Service anytime during the first 30-days, and we will gladly refund your money. You will only be responsible for out of plan calls you made during that time.
